Colorado State University Admissions
Applications to the undergraduate programs are accepted through July 1 for the fall semester, with an application fee of $50. In addition to the application form and fee, students must provide high school transcripts, test scores, a personal essay, and letters of recommendation. Among the other factors taken into account for admissions is evidence of students’ overall involvement and leadership in school, community, or family activities. Applications can be submitted on-line.
Graduate students must provide the following for admissions to the graduate school: application and fee, official transcripts, three letters of recommendation, and additional materials as required by the department. A graduate application has an application fee of $50. Graduate students are admitted by their department, and individual department should be contacted for admissions criteria.
Students applying to the College of Veterinary Medicine must apply to the University and submit a supplemental application (fee $60) to the College. GRE scores, letters of recommendation, and transcripts are also required.
Students should apply by July 1 to be considered for Fall admissions. For the Spring semester the deadline is December 1. The mid-range GPA for entering freshmen is between 3.3 and 3.9; the average is 3.54. Mid-range test scores are 22 to 27 on the ACT and 1030 to 1210 for the SAT.A personal essay is required.
